Having been in Bangkok for 10+ times over the past decade, I believe it is hard to find an affordable place on the river with such views. And Playground, too ;)"

"Wir steigen gerne im Ibis ab, wenn wir auf der Durchreise sind und sind gerade wieder dort. Einfache, aber saubere Zimmer und ein schöner Pool. Für ein paar Nächte gut geeignet. Es gibt viele tolle Restaurants in Bangkok, aber wir bleiben auch gerne abends im Hotel und lieben die Lage direkt am Chao Praya. Das Thai-Essen ist sehr gut und der Service freundlich."

"Taste is a restaurant at Ibis Bangkok Riverside which served breakfast, lunch and dinner. They provide variety of local foods and fusion style. Their Thai foods is tasty and acceptable for foreign but may not for local people. The restaurant offered phad thai, tom yum, fried rice, grill beef with thai style source, grilled breast chicken meat, etc which all these can get outside of restaurant. If lazy to go out or tired from day trip, Taste restaurant is right option at that moment."

"Taste restaurant staff were very welcoming and friendly. Seating was plentiful indoors as well as outdoor, overlooking the Chao Phraya river. Ordered Cesar salad, pork chop, and a club sandwich to eat, and lemon soda for a drink. Lemon soda was perfectly balanced and as I love it to be. Food presented well, cooked to perfection, and tasted great. All vegetables were fresh and crunchy. The price is really cheaper than most of other places around. Lovely atmosphere when dining by the river, watching the world go by, so relaxing."

"awesome German pork knuckle. one of the best crispy, meaty and tender pork knuckle i had. love the three sauces provided, one is soy sauce based, one is mustard based and the last one is Thai chili sauce. the mash potatoes is creamy, buttery and peppery. the salad is refreshing. we also ordered the Thai set with the green curry, green papaya salad, rice and coconut ice-cream. the curry is rich and creamy, plenty of chicken slices in it. the ice-cream is creamy and satisfying. the staff are patient and friendly. the restaurant has a great pool view on the inside and a fantastic river view on the outside."

"Excellent dining experience here at Taste everytime I dine here. Staff are very friendly yet professional, attentive and very responsive. Food quality is amazing with a wide variety to choose from. Indoor and outdoor seating is available and late night service is available inside the hotel. Special thanks to K’Nim who gives the best recommendation on the best items on the menu to try, all her recommendations have become my personal favorite! Also K’Boss who has been consistently giving excellent service to me and my family whenever we are there for a visit, the rest of the staff are amazing but I unfortunately was not able to write down their names. Everything Ive tried in their menu were amazing and I look forward to visiting this restaurant again. Taste is located inside Ibis Bangkok Riverside hotel. Outside dining is recommended in the evening to have a good view of the dinner cruise boats sailing on Chao Praya River. Highly recommended items on the menu: Crispy Catfish, Tom Kha Gai, Pork Knuckles Duo, Fish & Chips, Spinach Soup, Blue Hawaii cocktail, Brownie A la mode."
